Tap 3 Elite

Tap 3

The TAP 3 Elite is the newest addition to the TAP family of appliances for the treatment of snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Based on the same principle as CPR, the TAP (Thornton Adjustable Positioner) was designed to keep the airway open to allow for air to pass. A constricted or collapsed airway causes snoring and OSA. The TAP device holds the lower jaw in a forward position, preventing the soft tissue of the throat from collapsing and obstructing the airway to reduce snoring and improve breathing.

Each TAP device consists of an upper and lower tray that fit over the teeth. Fitting comfortably, the TAP 3 Elite has small hardware that provides more room for the tongue and allows the lips to close. Custom impressions are made of patients teeth and the device is custom made in about two weeks.

Custom Sports Mouthguard

mouthguards and nightguards

Sports accidents are common, and a mouthguard is especially beneficial to athletes who participate in high-contact activities. It is not uncommon to see athletes who have sustained serious damage to their teeth that could have been easily prevented or minimized by a mouthguard. Football, hockey, soccer and basketball are examples of just a few high-risk sports in which participants should wear mouth protection.

As an added benefit, we have mouthguards that are composed of materials that are absorptive to force, meaning the guards not only protect the teeth, but may also lessen the force to the entire skull and brain should the wearer suffer an injury, such as concussions.

We believe the community's adolescents should be able to afford the best care and we always offer them at the most affordable price possible with the help of our lab in Green Bays, WI qualitycrownandbridge.com.
